Over a quarter of EU residents can't afford a week's holiday — Poland below average
In 2025, 27.5% of EU residents aged 16 and over could not afford a week's holiday away from home, up 0.5 percentage points from 2024, according to Eurostat data. Poland ranked below the EU average. Holiday poverty is growing across the bloc amid rising living costs.
