Mahershala Ali confirms Marvel's Blade reboot is dead

Two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali has confirmed that Marvel Studios' planned Blade reboot is no longer happening. Ali had been attached to play the vampire-hunting antihero since 2019. He summed up the situation with the words: "If they wanted to do it, we would've done it." The original Blade trilogy starred Wesley Snipes across three films released between 1998 and 2004.
