Poland's deputy health minister: no cuts to drug programmes, NFZ funds 142

Deputy Health Minister Tomasz Maciejewski told the Sejm that there will be no cuts to drug treatment programmes, which remain a priority for the National Health Fund (NFZ) and the ministry. He reassured patients that they are safe, noting that NFZ currently funds 142 such programmes. He also stressed that any hospital refusing treatment must refer the patient to another facility.
