Alex Garland wraps filming on Elden Ring adaptation — release set for March 2028

Director Alex Garland has finished four months of principal photography on the live-action Elden Ring film in the UK. The A24 production is set for release on 3 March 2028, leaving over a year for post-production dominated by extensive visual effects. The budget is estimated at over $100 million, which would make it the most expensive film in A24's history.
