Violent storms sweep Poland — roofs torn off, power outages across regions

Violent storms swept across large parts of Poland on Saturday afternoon, tearing off roofs, snapping trees and causing widespread power outages. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued storm warnings covering almost the entire country. Overnight temperatures in some regions are expected to remain tropical.
