BNB Chain pursues legal action against ex-employee who made $638K on insider memecoin
BNB Chain announced it is pursuing legal action against a former employee who launched the ASTEROID memecoin using a wallet featured in an official company tutorial. On-chain analytics firm Lookonchain reported the ex-employee bought nearly 80% of the token's supply for $10,000 and sold most of it for around $638,000. The company views the actions as an abuse of trust and internal resources.
