Poland retains top spot in EU road freight with over 20% market share

Poland has retained its position as the largest road freight market in the European Union, with a market share exceeding one fifth of total EU road haulage, according to Eurostat data. EU-wide road freight volumes grew 0.9% year on year. Polish carriers once again dominated the European transport sector.
