Poll: Only 27% of Poles would take up arms to defend the country in wartime

An IBRiS poll commissioned by Radio ZET found that only 27% of Poles say they would volunteer to defend the country in the event of a war threat. Almost six in ten respondents declared no intention of taking part in defensive actions. A separate survey showed that nearly one in four Poles would consider leaving Poland if an armed conflict broke out.
