Meloni and Tusk among 22 EU leaders demanding stronger border protection after Ceuta crisis

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni initiated a letter to EU institutional heads calling for stronger external border protection and action against illegal immigration, following the Ceuta migration crisis. The letter was signed by 22 EU leaders, including Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The appeal comes in direct response to the mass crossing of some 60,000 people from Morocco.
