Worst-ever Ebola outbreak in DR Congo kills 1,587 with no approved vaccine

The World Health Organization has declared the current Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo the worst ever recorded in the country. The strain has killed 1,587 people so far. There is currently no approved vaccine or treatment for this particular variant.
