Książ Castle's Italian Salon reopens after 80 years with gilded ceiling and period furniture

The restored Italian Salon at Książ Castle in Wałbrzych has reopened to visitors for the first time in over 80 years, brought back to its pre-1944 appearance. Guests can admire a gilded ceiling, copies of Hochberg family portraits and period furniture. It is the first room in the castle to have its historical decor fully reconstructed.
