Gawkowski calls digital tax on tech giants a "social justice law" for Poland

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalisation Krzysztof Gawkowski described Poland's proposed digital tax bill as a "social justice law". He noted that similar taxes already in force in several EU member states generate billions in budget revenue. The levy would target the largest technology companies operating in Poland.
