Hammer thrower Malwina Kopron rules out return this season

Polish hammer thrower Malwina Kopron, Olympic bronze medallist from Tokyo, has ruled out a return to competition this season and will miss the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham. Kopron, who gave birth to a daughter, had been expected to make a comeback this year. Poland's 75-strong squad for Birmingham includes three other hammer throw specialists.
