Meloni: defending EU borders is a shared European responsibility

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said on Saturday that defending the EU's external borders is a shared European responsibility, not a burden for any single country. She was commenting on a letter to EU institutional leaders co-initiated by her and Danish PM Mette Frederiksen and signed by leaders of 22 countries, including Poland. The letter was prompted by the ongoing migration crisis in Ceuta.
