Japan's Onodera collapses in VNL quarter-final with heart problem
Japan's middle blocker Taishi Onodera collapsed during the VNL 2026 quarter-final against China. The cause turned out to be a heart condition. He has returned to Japan for further tests and will not play in the remaining matches of the tournament.
