Magnitude-4.7 quake near Naples injures 21 and forces 250 to evacuate
A magnitude-4.7 earthquake struck the Campi Flegrei area near Naples at 7:46 pm on Friday — the strongest to hit the region in 40 years. At least 21 people were injured and more than 250 were evacuated. The quake caused power outages, disrupted public transport and damaged buildings and a pier at the site of Europe's largest volcanic crater.
