Polregio may return to PKP umbrella as minister discusses company's future

Infrastructure Minister Dariusz Klimczak is in talks with State Assets Minister Wojciech Balczun over the future strategy for Polregio, Poland's largest regional rail operator. Klimczak stressed the goal is a growth plan, not cost-cutting. The head of Polregio indicated that a potential shift of oversight back to PKP could ease the purchase of new rolling stock.
