22 EU leaders including Tusk urge immediate EU action after Ceuta migration crisis
Leaders of 22 EU member states, including Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, signed a joint statement calling for immediate EU action in response to the migration crisis in Ceuta. Thousands of migrants illegally crossed the Spanish-Moroccan border in recent days. The signatories declared they would not allow uncontrolled mass border crossings or the instrumentalisation of migration to create the impression that illegal entry into the EU is possible.
