Millions of inherited panel-block flats could shake up Poland's property market
Poland's demographic decline means a large share of flats currently owned by seniors will be inherited and put on the secondary market within the next decade or so, according to analyst Jarosław Jędrzyński of RynekPierwotny.pl. A flood of second-hand panel-block apartments could significantly dampen demand for new-build properties. Experts say this could be the biggest structural shift in Polish real estate in decades.
