At least 18 migrants die storming the Morocco–Ceuta border

At least 18 migrants died attempting to enter the Spanish territory of Ceuta after thousands breached the border with Morocco on Thursday and overnight. The mass crossing triggered a major migration crisis at the EU's external frontier. Spanish and European authorities are under pressure to respond.
