Unclaimed deposits flow into Poland's National Environmental Fund

In Poland's deposit-return scheme, unclaimed bottle deposits go to the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. Operators of the scheme transfer the surplus from unreturned containers to the fund. The money is earmarked for environmental purposes.
