Polish emergency agency warns: heatwave raises carbon monoxide poisoning risk
Poland's Government Security Centre (RCB) sent overnight SMS alerts to everyone in the country, warning of elevated carbon monoxide poisoning risk during the current heatwave. High temperatures can cause heating and ventilation systems to malfunction. The RCB reminded the public to ventilate rooms and check their installations.
