Polish IPN exhumes over 50 victims in Volhynia — including women and children
Specialists from Poland's Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) have uncovered the remains of more than 50 people — men, women and children — in the former Polish villages of Ostrówki and Wola Ostrowiecka in Volhynia, Ukraine. The victims were killed over 80 years ago by Ukrainian nationalist forces. Ukrainian researchers are also participating in the exhumations.
