Thousands storm Ceuta border, at least 18 drown

Thousands of migrants crossed from Morocco into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, triggering a major border crisis. At least 18 people drowned attempting to swim to Spanish territory. Spain deployed troops to the enclave, and Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez travelled to Ceuta personally to oversee the response.
