Japan fires Tomahawk cruise missiles for the first time from destroyer Chōkai

Japan's Ministry of Defence confirmed a successful test firing of an RGM-109 Tomahawk cruise missile from the destroyer Chōkai. It is the first time Japanese armed forces have launched this type of weapon. The test marks a significant step in the expansion of Japan's offensive military capabilities.
