Three US states ordered to cut Colorado River water use by 20%

Federal US authorities ordered three states to cut their water use from the Colorado River by 20% in order to protect the river. Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs called the federal plan "unacceptable" and "draconian." The Colorado River is a critical water source for millions of people across the western United States.
