Lechia Gdańsk, relegated from the Ekstraklasa, suffered a second consecutive 0:3 defeat in the Betclic First Division, this time against Warta Poznań. A week earlier they had lost by the same scoreline to Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki, making for a painful start to the season.
