US regulator opens probe into suspension failures in 1.2 million Teslas

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) launched a preliminary investigation on Friday into approximately 1.2 million Tesla vehicles over reported suspension component failures. The defects may cause drivers to lose control of their vehicles, posing a significant safety risk, Reuters reported.
