LA's Watts Towers to get $22 million expansion ahead of 2028 Olympics

The iconic Watts Towers in Los Angeles, a folk art landmark built by an Italian immigrant over three decades, will receive a $22 million campus expansion. Five acres of green space will be created around the 17-structure complex. The project is planned for completion ahead of the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
