Italy temporarily suspends Schengen agreement with Spain after Ceuta border breach

Italy has temporarily suspended its Schengen agreement with Spain following Thursday's mass breach of the border between Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. Spanish police and troops are working to reinforce the border, while Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is travelling to the scene. Several neighbouring EU countries have introduced temporary border checks.
