DR Congo Ebola outbreak becomes world's second-largest ever with 3,500+ cases
The ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has surpassed 3,500 cases, making it the world's second-largest ever. The outbreak is caused by the Bundibugyo strain, for which there is no approved vaccine or treatment. It has now overtaken the country's previous deadliest epidemic.
