Agriculture ministry to report suspected cherry price-fixing cartel to Polish competition watchdog

Agriculture Minister Stefan Krajewski announced on Friday that his ministry will notify Poland's competition watchdog UOKiK of suspected price-fixing on the cherry market. The ministry also pledged support for farmers and orchard growers hit by frosts, hail and extreme temperatures. The move aims to protect producers from unfair purchasing practices.
