EU reassures: Ceuta migrants will not reach mainland Europe via Schengen

The EU Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration posted on X that migrants who crossed from Morocco into Spain's Ceuta enclave will not be able to reach continental Europe or other member states. He noted that Schengen border rules provide for specific border controls at the enclave. Despite the reassurances, several EU member states have already taken unilateral measures.
