Missile over Lublin region identified as Ch-101 made near Moscow, prosecutors confirm

Polish prosecutors have confirmed that the missile which crashed in the Lublin region on Thursday was a Ch-101 cruise missile. Spokesperson Marcin Kozak of the Lublin Regional Prosecutor's Office stated it was manufactured in the second quarter of 2026 at a facility in the Moscow Oblast of the Russian Federation. The incident marks a confirmed violation of Polish airspace by a Russian weapon.
