Oregon vet sues AI firm Zoetis after misdiagnosis kills 11-year-old dog

An Oregon veterinarian has filed a lawsuit against Zoetis, alleging that its AI tool misdiagnosed a cancerous tumour in an 11-year-old dog, leading to the animal's death. The suit claims Zoetis altered its original diagnostic report and subsequently admitted in a phone call that similar misidentifications had occurred with other clients.
