Hamas confirms it agreed to disarm as condition of Gaza peace deal

Hamas officially confirmed on Friday that it has agreed to a deal with Israel that will lead to the group's full disarmament. Disarmament is a condition of the second phase of the Gaza peace plan brokered by US President Donald Trump. Until now, Hamas had consistently rejected any conditions requiring it to give up its weapons.
