WIG20 near 2007 all-time high as Żabka acquired by Circle K owner

July proved an exceptional month for the Warsaw Stock Exchange, with the WIG20 index gaining over 9% and nearly touching its all-time high set in 2007 during Friday's session. The highlight of the final trading day of the month was the announcement that the owner of Circle K is acquiring the Żabka convenience store chain. Trading on the closing session was otherwise calm.
