Polish parliament ends emission exemptions for major airlines to comply with EU rules

Poland's Sejm passed on Friday an amendment to aviation law aligning Polish regulations with EU greenhouse gas emission limits for the aviation sector. The changes scrap preferential treatment previously granted to the largest airlines.
