Drug-impaired driver killed 9-year-old near Kłobuck — prosecutor seeks pre-trial detention

The Częstochowa prosecutor's office has filed for pre-trial detention of 38-year-old Jakub Sz., who on Wednesday drove a BMW onto a pavement in Kuźnica Stara and fatally struck a 9-year-old boy. Toxicology tests confirmed the driver was under the influence of narcotics. He was driving despite a court-imposed 5-year driving ban.
