Morawiecki proposes tax cuts and cheap mortgages to lure Poles back from abroad
Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has unveiled a programme called "Rozwój Plus" that would offer Poles living abroad lower taxes, cheap housing loans and streamlined recognition of foreign qualifications to encourage them to return to Poland. The initiative is framed as part of a plan to build the "world's safest state." Morawiecki is currently in opposition and the proposals are not government policy.
