Nirmal Purja missing on Broad Peak after avalanche

Renowned Himalayan climber Nirmal Purja has gone missing after an avalanche struck during his expedition on Broad Peak. He had not initially planned to attempt the peak but changed his mind because a successful summit would have left him just one mountain short of a historic achievement.
