Novo Nordisk stock slumps after Phase 3 trial failure

Shares in Danish healthcare giant Novo Nordisk fell sharply on Friday after the company announced a Phase 3 clinical trial had failed. The setback adds to a string of difficulties the firm has been facing. Novo Nordisk is best known as the maker of GLP-1 drugs including Ozempic and Wegovy.
