Nolan's "The Odyssey" turns Sicily's Favignana into a tourist magnet worth $500 million
Christopher Nolan's upcoming film "The Odyssey" was partly shot on Favignana, a Sicilian island off the western coast that stood in for Ithaca, home of Odysseus. The production is already luring tourists to the island, with projected revenues of $500 million for the region. Favignana is the largest of the three Egadi Islands.
