Polish F-16s intercept Russian reconnaissance aircraft over the Baltic Sea

A pair of Polish Air Force F-16 fighters on standby duty successfully intercepted a Russian Ilyushin Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft over the Baltic Sea. The defence minister confirmed that Polish airspace was not violated during the incident. The interception is another instance of Polish aviation monitoring Russian air force activity in the region.
