60,000 migrants enter Ceuta — 70% of city's population, 34 dead

The number of migrants who crossed into Ceuta reached 60,000 — equivalent to 70% of the population of the Spanish enclave in North Africa — according to Ceuta's regional president Juan Jesús Vivas. At least 34 people died. The crisis is the largest of its kind in the enclave's history.
