60,000 migrants cross into Ceuta in 24 hours; at least 34 dead

Around 60,000 migrants crossed from Morocco into Spain's enclave of Ceuta within a single 24-hour period, according to Ceuta's president. At least 34 people died during the border breach. The enclave has a resident population of only 84,000, meaning the number of arrivals nearly matched the number of locals.
