Sánchez visits Ceuta, announces temporary centres to fast-track deportations

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez visited Ceuta and announced the creation of temporary centres to expedite the expulsion of migrants with no legal claim to stay. Italy called for Spain to be suspended from the Schengen area amid the crisis. Sánchez met with border and police officials as well as local authorities at the Tarajal crossing.
