Iran fires on two tankers in Strait of Hormuz over "unauthorized route"

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it fired on two tankers attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz via what it called an "unauthorized route" away from Iranian shores. Iran also claimed the United States had been misleading regarding the incident, according to Reuters.
