Polish parliament strips KO MP Wojciech Król of immunity but blocks arrest

Poland's Sejm voted on Friday to lift the parliamentary immunity of KO MP Wojciech Król, allowing the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) to pursue criminal charges against him. At the same time, the chamber rejected the request for his detention and pre-trial arrest. Król remains free but faces criminal proceedings.
