Heatwave up to 36°C hits Poland with level-3 alerts — risk to life

Poland's meteorological institute IMGW has issued heat warnings for almost the entire country, with level-3 alerts — indicating a risk to life — covering half of Poland. Temperatures on Friday and Saturday may reach 36°C. Forecasters are also warning of thunderstorms with hail, heavy rain and gusts up to 100 km/h.
